Welcome/Legal Notice

I guess I should welcome you to the new website right?

So, you found my new place. A little history, I guess, would be appropriate.

I started a blog to prove to independent agents how easy it is to get into Social Media. (If I can ANYONE can!) I was writing a weekly communication to my agency channel and I was getting pretty great feedback. The topics were based on sales, agency best practices, and then it morphed into Social Media.

Now, I have moved on from a simple blog read by 10′s of people, to a website read by, well, 10′s of people.

The site is still dedicated to the independent insurance agent. (So Mom, you will not find photos of my kids here either.) It is dedicated to making them better. It is the why and how of Social Media and I throw in some sales info too. (Those of us who choose sales as a career can always be reminded and re-enthused regularly. Sales is a dance, and it will be reffered to as such in the content of the site. By the way, insurance agents are sales people. They go throught the same stuggles I do daily. An important perspective I keep.)

This site is managed by me, on my time, it is mine, it is written by me, it is my content (unless otherwise noted) and does not reflect the opinions of my current employer, or any former employer for that matter.

Enjoy, Come back for more, and tell a friend. (Even if they aren’t an Independent Insuance agent.)

How do I unconnect my personal facebook, and my business facebook? I want two totally separate accounts

You can either have your personal account and be the admin for your fan page or you can create a separate facebook page. You will want to set it as one of the admins to your page. Then whenever you want to work on your fan page you won’t be interrupted by your friends.
